The KYDS' Clinical Committee 

  

  

Pam McGaw has extensive experience working with young people and adults in the field of Grief and Loss and Beravement Counselling at the Bereavement Care Centre in Eastwood and also in Private Practice on the the North Shore of Sydney.

  

Professor Garry Walter AM is Professor of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the Univeristy of Sydney, Clinical Director of Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services, Northern Sydney Local Health District and Editor of the journal Australasian Psychiatry. Garry has published over 300 articles, has won a number of key research and health services awards and is a consultant to KYDS.

  

 

Professor David Bennett AO (the inaugral chair of KYDS during its first five years of service to the community) is currently the Head of the NSW Centre for the Advancement of Adolescent Health at The Children's Hospital Westmead. David retains his involvement with KYDS as a clinical consultant.

David Citer has been working in various residential, adolescent mental health units, drug and alcohol programs and hospitals for the past 12 years with organisations including the Ted Noffs Foundation, The Hawkesbury District Health Service and KYDS. David has been employed with KYDS for five years and is the Service Manager and an Adolescent and Family Counsellor.

  

 

Kym Carlson (AMAPS) completed a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) from Macquarie University in 2008, a Post Graduate Diploma of Psychology from Macquarie University in 2009 and a Post Graduate Diploma of Applied Psychology from Macquarie University in 2011. Kym joined the KYDS team as an Adolescent and Family Counsellor in April 2011.

  

                                                              

Danni McClellan completed a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) from Macquarie University in 2009 and is currenlty working 3 days per week as an Intern Psychologist at KYDS during 2011 and 2012.
