Parenting is one of life’s most meaningful journeys – but it can also feel overwhelming. Between the daily rush and emotional challenges, it’s easy to lose sight of calm, clarity and connection.
To support Lower North Shore parents and carers in navigating these moments, KYDS and The Kirribilli Neighbourhood Centre (KNC) are offering free, one-on-one counselling sessions designed to help you reflect, reset, and reconnect with your family values.
What to Expect
Each tailored session provides a compassionate, non-judgemental space where you can explore your own patterns and responses as a parent. You’ll receive personalised strategies that align with your values and your family’s unique needs – helping you cultivate calm, clarity, and stronger emotional connections at home.
Sessions focus on:
- Emotional awareness and self-regulation
- Building sustainable change through reflection
- Practical, evidence-based tools to improve communication and connection.
Who It’s For
These sessions are ideal for parents and carers of children aged 0–18 on the Lower North Shore who are seeking:
- Guidance through the emotional complexities of parenting
- A confidential space to reflect and gain clarity
- Support to feel more grounded and connected in family life.
