At KYDS, we believe every day is worth supporting – and that includes the people doing the parenting, not just the young people they’re raising.
That’s why we’re excited to launch Connected Parenting, a new one-on-one counselling program designed specifically for parents and carers who want to feel more grounded, confident and connected in their parenting journey.
Parenting can be one of the most rewarding – and overwhelming – roles a person takes on. Connected Parenting offers a compassionate, non-judgemental space to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with the parent (and person) you want to be. The sessions support thoughtful, reflective work that helps you scaffold your young people by leveraging your most valuable asset – your relationship.
Who is it for? Parents and carers of children of any age, at any stage – whether you’re navigating a specific challenge or simply curious about deepening your connection with your child and yourself. You don’t need to be in crisis to benefit. You just need to be curious.
What can it help with?
- Clarifying your values and what matters most to you
- Building a connection with your child (and with yourself)
- Feeling more confident in your parenting choices
- Creating rhythms and boundaries that work for your family
- Parenting with greater presence, compassion and intention
How it works: Sessions are available online or in-person (in-person by request/case-by-case basis). Support is tailored, practical and evidence-based, with a focus on connection, emotional awareness and sustainable change – delivered at your own pace.
Cost: $100 for your initial appointment, $75 for ongoing sessions.
