We are proud to announce that both our CEO, Anthony Rigney and Chair of Management Committee, Helen Jarvis, have been successful as finalists in the Westfield Local Heroes awards program!
Westfield Local Heroes is a recognition program that shines the spotlight on individuals and their organisations in Australia and New Zealand who make a positive impact to their local community or environment.
KYDS is very proud of the work we do to help local young people get the mental health support they need, when they need it. As finalists, Anthony and Helen will each receive a $5000 grant for KYDS.
The Westfield Local Hero finalist with the highest number of community votes for each Westfield centre will be awarded a $20,000 grant for the organisation they represent. Anthony has been selected as a finalist for Westfield Chatswood, while Helen has been selected for Westfield Hornsby. You can vote once per Westfield centre.
Your votes will help KYDS get one step closer to ensuring that no young person will be without mental health support. You can even share the link with your friends and family to help spread the word about KYDS and the importance of our youth mental health service.
Voting closes on 22 August – thanks for your ongoing support of KYDS!
