Navigating youth mental health
One of the biggest challenges that parents face is seeing their child going through difficult times and not knowing how to help.
KYDS understands your child’s well-being is a top priority and we’re dedicated to empowering them by providing barrier-free mental health support.
Our free services include individual counselling, family support and group sessions and we also collaborate with other local youth mental health services and community organisations to ensure the best care for our clients.
No Medicare card, GP referral or mental health plan is needed, and young people are encouraged to have a say in the type of intervention that works best for them. Our qualified psychologists, counsellors and social workers are experienced in supporting young people with trauma, mood and anxiety disorders, suicidal ideation and self-harming behaviours, and provide tailored counselling until they no longer require our help.
Early intervention helps young people get back on track more quickly. Is your child:
- Aged 10-18?
- Willing to engage in counselling support?
- Flexible in their availability to attend sessions?
We’re here for your family.
